While I have to give Devil May Cry the edge in being the overall better game (thus far, anyways), there's no denying that the swordplay in Revengeance is all kinds of fantastic. Limb-slicing has never been this satisfying.

You know, I don't get that whole one-or-the-other attitude that so many gamers have, either. I'm especially perplexed by the crowd who act like enjoying a Nintendo game is somehow a threat to their masculinity and/or adulthood. They use their hardcore-ness as a means of positing their gamer credibility, which in turn makes them look like a way bigger dork than readily admitting to enjoying a Kirby game.

The majority of time, those guys only play Call of Duty and are massive "bros."

Sigma is pretty glorious. Even more so after spending some time with 3.

But, yeah- PS3 owners who haven't hopped on Playstation Plus are kind of (and by "kind of", I mean "completely") whack. I think it bears repeating that it's currently the best value going in console gaming. Sometimes it seems almost too good to be true.

The only reason I don't have it is that I don't play enough. I probably play for about 5 or so hours of week so it's really no big deal to me. Plus my internet is hella slow so it would take a week to download a full game.

So i have a PS3 and have the following games
WWE 13-Played and enjoy
Infamous 1-Played and enjoy
Infamous 2-Haven't played
Uncharted 1 and 2-haven't played
Ratchet and Clank-played and enjoy

Now with my tax return, I want to get a few games. UFC 3, Madden 11 or 12(don't need the newest one, not a huge football fan), and a third one, but I can't decide. I like open world games, and the first that came to mind was Skyrim, but i thought I read somewhere it had issues on the PS3. What do you guys recommend?

What the hell are you waiting for?!?!? Go get 3 like right now.

And Ape, I borrowed Dishonored from a friend (really hope I can still do that on the PS4) and I just couldn't get into it. I'm not really a fan of the First-Person slasher type game. I felt it would've worked much better in the 3rd person.

The system itself sounds enticing, but I'm not feeling the rinky-dink touch-pad on that DualShock at all. I'm also still pretty happy with the kinds of experiences being delivered on current gen systems, so I'm not really getting the hurry to drop new tech. But it is what it is, I guess. As long as there's some exciting software to be had, I'll be there.

I'm 100% with you on the rushing part of things, and I too am not sure how great that touch pad thing will be. Looked a bit fiddly to me.
There's no way I'll be able to afford the PS4 when it comes out, so I just hope that they'll keep releasing titles on the PS3 for a little while longer at least.
I like the sound of what they're going to be putting into the new console though.

I'm sure that saying this is some sort of blasphemy, but Metal Gear Rising is easily the most fun I've ever had with a Metal Gear game. I mean, I liked it right out of the gate, but that like is turning to love the more and more I play. The periodic shades of Viewtiful Joe are really winning me over.
