That first hour or so of Saints Row 3 is something to behold. It's just amazing action set-piece after amazing action set-piece. And Volition just crane-kicks the player right the fuck into the game, too, so, you really hit the ground running. Love it.
I've only got 2 or 3 hours in now, but I'm noticing they've really tightened up the design over Part 2; lots of fat's been cut and they've done an impressive job making the experience a bit of a lean beast. My only real complaint thus far is the soundtrack. I don't know if more music is going to become available later in the game or what, but I'm desperately hoping it happens. I've only got, like, 6 or 7 tracks on my play-list and I'm not really thrilled with any of them (and good music is an incredibly import component of the running-down-strangers-with-your-car experience-- I can't stress that enough!!).
