You should at least give it a go one afternoon. It's not a terrible game.

There's nothing more satisfying than calling a Dragon to wipe out an enemy fort.

Finally got my hands on the full Playstation All-Stars game. Much like every other Smash Bros style game it falls short. The gameplay isn't as fun (beat up your enemy then hit them with a special) but it isn't without some degree of charm. There are some great characters to play as and the fact you get the Vita version for free is a bonus.

The roster bugs me to no end. Like, they omitted Crash Bandicoot, who was at one time the mascot for the Playstation brand...but they included the version of Dante from the Devil May Cry game that hasn't even been released yet. Um, what? And we don't get characters like Lara Croft and/or Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, who actually helped to define the old PS1 era- but we get two different Coles from Infamous and Bioshock's Big Daddy? Seems to me like only half a measure in terms of representing actual All-Stars.

Yeah, Snake should have definitely been in there. I mean, it certainly makes more sense to have him in Playstation All-Stars game than it does in a Smash Bros. game, right?

I personally think Alucard from Symphony of the Night would have been a kickass inclusion, too.

That would have been amazing, and it would mean online games wouldn't just consist of Kratos and Raiden.

Yeah, I've noticed that Kratos seems to be the go-to for almost half of the people playing. Sort of turned me off from further bothering with the online component.
