Let's hear it for Batista calling Cena bubblegum. The wily Batista says he isn't into the whole WWE PG thing. What's wrong with that? I say nothing. I agree that the attitude era was more entertaining as opposed to the bubblegum era. What do you guys think?

Like Botchtista could hang with the Attitude era guys. He'd have been injured faster than you can say the word bubblegum. Is he saying that Cena's responsible for the PG thing? Just because he fits the mold? Nice one Dave!

It's a no brainer that the Attitude era was more entertaining because with a broader rating you can include more stuff into angles. PG severely limits this. You'll never see any classic "choppy choppy" Val Vanis moments or handcuffed chairshots to the head anymore!

The Bubblegum Era! That's what this era is...this is the one era that didn't have name to it really. Well, the Bubblegum Era is the perfect name. I will agree with Batista on the fact John Cena is pure bubblegum. I understand Batista perfers the Attitude Era but I really don't think Batista would have done well or be such a high rank main eventer that he eventually got into especially in an era that consisted of Rock, Austin, HHH, Taker, Foley, Jericho, Angle, Show, Kane & so forth let alone most of these guys where in there primes which would have made it harder for Batista to succeed in the Attitude Era. There is probably only one guy in today's WWE that could have fit well in the Attitude Era & that's Randy Orton. I was also going to say Edge as well but Edge was there as a mid-card guy. Personally, I don't think Batista will be returning to the WWE anytime in the near future.

John Cena could easily be compared to how Recording music artist get treated by their bosses. They tell them what they can an can not do an knowing that they love what they are doing they lower their head, walk it off, and go out there to perform no-matter how much it shames them. An when they are approached about this they just nod an laugh an give a lame one liner explanation. But remember nothing is what it seems in this business of who screwed who in the butt.

John Cena does seem like a pretty cool guy IRL, don't think many people would disagree with that. And of course The Attitude Era was far more entertaining, but let's not forget that it had MORE than its fair share of fail and horrible shit every week as well.

Cena may be the poster boy n it does annoy me but he has no problem putting over new talent to help give them credibility. Face it guys he does put over talent... bubblegum or not.

I don't see how anyone can deny that he does, but I'm sure someone will!
