Likely should.

I'm not sure how to get to it on every computer.
But on mine I:

Bring up the Start thing, where it pops up with different sections and go straight to it.

Might be different for you.

The only thing on this computer I've paid for is is virus protection. It has been on my computer for a long time.

Plus I'm running Vista, so that may be why

Ah. I run W7... don't remember seeing it though, but maybe I overlooked it. Where is it located?

Mine is in my start menu(Button on the lower left, where you click to shut down)

If you want to see if it's on yours. If you open that menu, there might be a search thing, so you can type in Microsoft Word, and it might pop up.

Not sure about netbooks, but most comps come with Microsoft Works for free, but if you wanted Office Word and it didn't come on your comp, you have to pay for it.
