I had no problem understanding her and I am a very pacific northwest accent.

Americans are not really exposed to irish accents... I feel pretty good about understand English people, I am semi use to their slang and stuff.... but Irish people are much tougher to understand for me at least. The only real irish voice I can think of off the top of my head is Dolores O'riordan's lol.
