Triple H hits Undertaker with the 3rd pedigree of the match. The crowd is deadly silent as they feel the end drawing near. HHH rolls Taker over for the count. HBK hesitantly drops down to begin what will go down in history as the biggest and final 3 count of an era. HBK's hand slams the mat once...twice...Then from the speakers blares the sound of glass breaking as Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way to the cell. He breaks in, runs into the ring and delivers the biggest stunner since WM 14 on HBK.
As Austin smiles and gives HHH the most epic middle fingers in the history of the gesture, the sound of an electric guitar comes from the speakers. Down the ramp comes Bret Hart with a led pipe. He gets in the ring and nails Austin over the head, as HHH watches. Hart puts Austin in the sharpshooter as blood runs down Austins face, like it's WM 13. Then out of nowhere HBK barely able to stand, delivers a SUDDEN DEATHly super kick to Harts jaw.
Then from the speakers comes the NWO theme song as Kevin Nash makes his way to the ring. He gets in and hits HHH with the Jackknife powerbomb. He turns and Taker catches him, lifting him for a WM 12 style Tombstone. As Taker goes to pin HHH, Scott Hall (sober) runs to the ring with an object in hand. Taker turns around and Hall shocks with a Stun Gun. Takers body collapses going limp. Hall puts HHH on top of Taker, as HBK (in a daze) slides up to count...1...2......3. The crowd is in shock as Hall holds his hands up in triumph, ending the SECOND phenomenal streak of his career.
As the song "Requiem for a Dream" plays, out comes Jimmy Snuka, Jake the Snake, giant Gonzales, K.K. Bundy, Sid, the ghost of Big Bossman, Kane, Flair, Big Show, Lord Tensai, Orton, S.Chocolate, Batista, and Edge carrying the Undertakers cross. They place the Deadman's body on the cross, securing his arms and legs before it's lifted in the air. As the Phenom hangs lifeless from the cross, out walks Paul Bearer and Vince Russo. In the hands of Bearer is a charred stuffed animal. A teddy bear. Stephanie's teddy bear, the one used to introduce us to her character at the height of the Attitude Era. Bearer hands the bear to Russo, who holds the scorched Teddy Bear up, and sets it to flame.
We get a close up of the burning bear, signifying the end of an era. As we see the bear, we hear Russo's laughter over "Requiem for a Dream".
FADE OUT.
