How important is someones entrance music to them?

Is there a corralation between a good theme tune and how much they get over? For example. R-Truth last year as a face. Would he have gotten over if he didn't involve the crowd? Can you think of any examples where a theme tune really helps someone out? If someone with a bad theme tune changed to seem more fitting would it benefit them greatly or not?

Just want your thoughts because I think it helps capture a character if it is fitting.

BTW I'm not saying Motorhead song makes him look bad to me motorhead songs are the best in WWE. LEMMY IS GOD

It depends on who the wrestler is, and what the entrance music is. If it's something like The Rocks or Austins, it would go perfectly with them. But sometimes theme music just doesn't fit the wrestler - like Cody Rhodes' new music..it's weird. It can't make a star, as we've seen from Alex Riley, but it sure can help them on their way to the top if it suits them.

Theme music is important in developing a wrestler's personality and enhancing his gimmick.
Look at Orton's Voices. Whenever he does his viper thing, Lawler says 'Oh he's listening to the voices in his head.'
Plus, good music sells more on iTunes.

I think it's very important, if Riley didn't have the music he has now, I wouldn't give a rat's behind about him. And a good 35/40% of my liking of Dolph Ziggler is down to his theme.

Riley hasn't been seen on Raw for months.

It is a huge thing. When the music plays the fans should know exactly who is coming out and know exactly how to react. Sometimes I find myself waiting to see their video or to see who walks out because the music isn't that gat or doesn't stand out. You wanna hear a huge pop or huge boos when the music hits not nothing until the fans see who it is. And as you can see with guys like The Rock and SCSA, it defines a character.

This song name is Fire It Up by Black Label Society. Both BLS and Motorhead are fantastic metal bands, I'd give this one to Motorhead
