I tend to find, with this type of TV 'comic', that they rely on a sheeple audience. They drop a weak line, hope someone feels abliged to laugh and then hope the rest of the room follows suit, like good like sheeple. Failing that a laugher track can always (and often is) be added.

Until this thread I'd never even heard of her. I'd guess 99% of the world outside America haven't. I've since Youtubed a few things of hers and it would seem that she is one of those 'comics' that would only fill venues and get a TV spot in America. The country where being crap doesn't stop you becoming hugely famous. But when you have a captive audience 300million who are spoon fed of junk from day one, it's hardly surprising. Very rarely does a day go by when something about America doesn't make me shake my head.

On the plus side they have made wrestling a world wide success. So they aren't all bad.

Firstly, is there a point to what you just posted? It seems to be a floating statement, with no contribution to the debate.

Secondly, you seem to only watch American TV "comics". Maybe if you expanded your horizons you'd see just how low grade the likes of Letterman, Leno and this daft bint* are.

Yeah I think I reley on the likes of Letterman, Leno, Connan, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehelr, Kathy Griffin, Chelesa Handler, Bill Maher, Dennis Miller, modern country comics as Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, classic country comics as Ray Stevens, Jerry Clower, Cledus T Judd, Minnie Pearl, and the only real International fame comic Craig Furgerson as well...
Then there are the old stand up comics like Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Jerry Seinfield, and Kelsy Grammer...
I guess I need to expand my horizons and find some comics from out of the USA...
