according to what some people say, I do can see his happening. WWE as buriers as they are, can do anything they please so... Could make sense assuming some internet rumors are true on the "Henry's last year" subject. Then he could put over a younger talent in a going out way.

02-04-2012, 07:08 AM #11There's been a surge of ideas I don't like over the past week, and this is no exception. Henry has taken 15 years to establish himself as someone serious. I don't want him to lose that, even when he turns face again. I'd rather see the WWE writers rehash storylines and go with the MVP one, where Drew keeps losing for months, and eventually turns face somehow.

When I saw the title to this thread I thought how I would book it and had exactly the same idea as the OP except in my version I kept McIntyre heel by having him conspire against Teddy behind his back.
A real champion with a real title belt.

Losing to McIntyre will not end or affect his career. And it's not like he's not going to beat him, it would be a fued, not a squash or something like that. Henry would lose nothing.

Henry has been injured for weeks and has been working through it! He then injured himself further just before the RR! That's why he's having time off to heal!
