UEFA Europa League Round of 32

Well,I dig this competition,its more open than the Champions League,which is a 4 league competition.Teams from all across Europe are in it,more countries have representatives,pity that it just seems to have such a bad rep and image,although thats partially UEFA's fault.Anyways,6 handy games worth watching could be:

Stoke vs Valencia
Manyoo vs Ajax
Lazio vs Atletico Madrid
Man City vs Porto
Rubin Kazan vs Olympiakos
Besiktas vs Braga

And can someone from England please explain this whole Channel 5 jibe aimed at the Man clubs,is it the channel,the coverage,what?

Since you asked nicely, and have been playing nice recently I'll try to explain

It's kind of a combination of both really. The superior football coverage in the UK is Sky Sports, but ITV have always shown Champions League games. So those two have always been mainstays for the games.

Channel 5 has pretty much been a laughing stock since it launched as a channel, back in '97.

Since the Europa league is seen as inferior to the Champions League, combined with the fact that Channel 5 have the rights for Europa League games. It's like being punched in the face twice for these spoilt fans of teams who get Champions League football every season I suppose.

I'm not a hater though, I was well thankfull for Channel 5's coverage of both of our UEFA cup adventures!!

When the Channel 5 shows football games, the Europa League is usually shown. With the Champions League on ITV

Man U vs Ajax will be a good game. Man U need to keep an eye on Eriksen and Sulejmani, good players on the pitch.

So is there only 1 channel that shows Europa League? What if there are 3 big games(by Europa League standards) on at the same time?

This competition has too many games,bring back the Cup Winners Cup and split the amount of teams in two! Less games,1 more trophy available in Europe.

As long as there's coverage for the English teams, we don't give a shit about the other games!!

Saying that though, I think that Eurosport shows games aswell, I could be wrong though?

City game is on ITV1.

Stoke vs Valencia was the 3rd game I was talking about.Trust me,its better to have multiple broadcasters,albeit some better than others,than to have 1 broadcaster who has no competition.....

sometimes i seen europa league on itv4 and eurosport so theres what happens
