Ideas to get Cena more over by wrestlemania

I think one segment on raw could get Cena more over with the fans then the Rock. Have a segment where Cena is in the lockeroom getting ready for a match on raw, First have CM punk come in and do a promo that basically says "Our generation has never got the respect it deserves, we are forever overshadowed by the Attitude era, I don't like you, but this match is for all of us..your fighting for all of us John..don't let us down"..Then have a couple more wrestlers, both heel and faces come in and cut promo's saying the same thing "Your fighting for the respect of our generation, were behind you"...I think this one segment would actually get him just as many supporters as the Rock for there match at wrestlemania.
for the record, I like the Rock a hell of a lot more then Cena, just thought that would be a good idea to finally get Cena over, at least for this once match. What do you think of this idea? And do you have any ideas to get Cena more over for the match?

I liked that idea and i think it would work to but it won't change the fact that Cena will be booed at WM lol.

I think he actually won some fans with Mondays promo. Cena's winning this feud, no matter how many boo's. His promos have substance, where Rocky's are very cheesy. I hope this comming Monday The Rock comes in as THE GREAT ONE and not Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson"
Don't worry Daniel, I also have a great admiration for AJ aswell!

That's a damn good idea. But I'm not sure if it could be done..since theres been reports that several talent backstage have a problem with The Rock, and I'm not sure if WWE would want that to go on screen. If they were smart, they would do it though. I thought that the Kane - Cena storyline was gonna be enough to put Cena over, but it wasn't. If he doesn't continue doing awesome things, then he will go into Mania the usual Cena.

I could see this happening but with the WWE, they'll mess it up somehow.

I don't like this idea, because it goes along with the same old bullshit that people give Cena flak for. Everyone bending over and sucking the guy's dick, and his being such a whitemeat babyface. I do, however, like the skeleton of your idea, and let me propose my own that I think would help him much more efficiently.

Same location, he's in the back getting ready for a match. Have Punk come in, and in a "pipebomb" moment state that he doesn't care who wins at Wrestlemania, because The Rock and Cena represent the way he and countless others are held down backstage, and that he almost hopes that The Rock beats him at Wrestlemania. Then have Cena say something to the effect of "I don't give a damn what you think, because all I need to know is that I'm gonna beat The Rock, no matter who's support I do or don't have". Cena then gets in Punk's face, and they have a stare down before Punk smiles, pats him on the shoulder and says "Now THAT'S the edge you've been missing". That way he transitions from a goofy, company forced fed product, to a guy who people can connect with and think is "cool". Not the same "Everyone put over Cena" schtick again.
