Review for Great American Bash

All right, so to start with, I think it would be cool to have a theme song for each PPV. I liked the commentary to open the show though, hype things up. So first, we get the fatal fourway match. My money is either on Rey, Lethal, or Anderson. Nice little opener, and Anderson gets the win. I wonder where he is headed. Ok so we've got Punk out here, most likely to talk about the mystery man. Yup, talking about the mystery man. Wait..the mystery man talks. nice. I ponder who it could be. All right, we got NAO vs Cryme Tyme. My money is on Cryme Tyme. Good match, but NAO win. Hmm...I smell a rematch....

Ok, we finally get Ryback vs Goldberg 1 on 1. One thing I didn't like while reading this match, was 1) the ending, and 2) some of the stuff during the match. I would have rather seen either a)both men hit their finishers and the other kicks out to show they are on the same field of power or b) neither hit their finishers, and only signatures, to leave the air of "well..what if Ryback hit Shellshock or what if Goldberg hit the jackhammer". As for the ending, if K2 isn't dropping the character, then I'm kind of disappointed in this ending. I'm sure it leads to a rematch at Summerslam if K2 isn't dropping the guy, but I still would have preferred to see a clear winner, and not a dirty ending. All right, time for first title match. My money is on some team other than All American Perfection, since they've been holding the titles since the WWE re-introduced them. Good match! Surprised to see All American Perfection retain. Makes me wonder who will finally take the titles off of them.

So we follow that title match up with another title match. Reks vs Steen. This has been a nice feud to follow on Nitro. I'm not guessing who wins. Nice swerve ending with the ref not seeing Steen's hand. Who else smells another title match for Steen. *cough cough Summerslam cough cough* All right, time for UK vs Black..unless he finds a partner..and he does. Nice! It's Angle! Another good match! Glad to see Angle and Black pick up the win here.

All right...what do we got next...ooooohhhh Ambrose. Got to love Ambrose on the mic. Always gives you chills. Glad to see The Rock and Dean finally get their hands on each other. Up next...PPV debut for Damien Sandow! All right! Good match, with Hogan getting the win. Not going to lie, kind of bummed not seeing Sandow get the win, but also makes me wonder where Sandow is going next, if he continues feuding with Hogan or moves on to something else. We shall see

All right, time for Rhodes vs Sheamus. Hmm...I think it could go either way. So a masked man appears helping Sheamus. I think the announcers are quick to assume it's the same one attacking Punk, but then again, who is to say it's not the same one. Personally, I don't think it is. And the mystery man...Wade Barrett! Nice! Congrats to Sheamus/Vandarius on the win! Good match!

All right, time for a match I've been anxiously waiting for...Road to Triumph. So Paige and Lita are starting it off. Interesting to see Lita, Kelly, and Trish advance. So the Trish/Kelly feud continues, adding in a new element of Lita. Hmm, I'm intrigued. STING! WOO HOO!

All right, time for a triple threat World title match! Hmm...I wonder who will win. Nice match, but I felt the written portion afterwards was kind of short for a World title. I would have liked to seen it a little bit longer, to give it that feeling of importance. The ending was also eh. I would have liked to see Brock get bashed over the head like 5 times, before being hit by the DDT. Give it that feeling Brock has had his skull caved in. nice match none the less.

Ok...time for the WWE Championship. If i hadn't already read it, my money would have been on Jericho. While rereading this, I want to say kudos to whomever wrote it. TO me, this is up there with the Edge/Punk match from WM. Excellent match that was great to read along with.

Final notes: One thing I noticed first, was sometimes wrong names being used. Example, Ryback then hits Ryback with the Meat Hook. Also, the promos. First I want to apologize to creative for not being able to get anything in for the four characters I have. In the same notion, I feel like others who know they are involved with the show should be up for doing a promo for PPV's. Not something long or short, just a nice little length to give segway between matches and hype their match. Then you don't run into the issue where one person has to do 5 promos that are rather short(no offense intended S.E.Z) All in all, a very good PPV with a few minor flaws in my eyes. Easily a A PPV. Can't wait for Summerslam!

No offense taken. I look at it from this point of view if its just meant to be a transition promo and not a promo that will truly affect the outcome of the match my characters are involved in like say the Road to Triumph winners being decided based of the promos they turn in (which would've meant Paige would've won a spot in SummerSlam match given I was the only one to turn a Divas promo out of my own accord; granted it was short) or like that of Punk where he needed to vent his emotions towards the masked man then I really have no need to do a lengthy promo since its just a nice little added exposure before their matches unless I know the outcome (which I don't) to give a post match interview.

I like keep em short and to the point, though on occasion or at times I intentionally do a lesser job in some promos so that certain characters shine more than the other i.e. The Kings on this past Raw and Punk at the PPV. If people want to turn in more promos in for PPV's, that's all the more power to them but since the only requested promos on my end were that of Punk and Black, all the rest I did for the benefit of them being featured in the PPV since they were all in action (minus Punk) in some way and felt it would make them look good before their matches. Short as they may have been it was just fun to be able to take the time to do a promo for them to help the PPV even in such a small way that seems to have a major interest for many here in the WWE fed.

Sure thing man. Got a lot of love for this fed myself, otherwise I wouldn't care to go that extra step at times. Looking forward to what the next promo assignment may be for Raw and Nitro
