I wanna give my thoughts on using actual theme songs since you used the phrase. The pyro goes off around the arena as the theme song welcomes to the show proper. yet here I am wondering what the theme was. You should pick actual themes for the PPV's if you are going to make statements like that again.
I will say that seeing the tag team battle royale start the PPV was a great choice. Seeing the debut of Alberto Del Rio and Ricarrddddooooo Rodriguuuueeeezzzzz was fantastic. Seeing Young, Del Rio and Castagnoli be the final 3 participants was superb as they are all part of great tag teams and I must say the sense of joy I felt when it was The Kings of Wrestling who won it all was awesome. I want to thank creative for trusting the win with me and I'll be sure to make the soon to be title shot against All American Perfection, a great one.
Following things up seeing Hurricane face Daniels was good though I expected Daniels to get the win (even if it was through dirty means) to keep the rivalry going. I can imagine it will be continued under some other premise but should it be just a one off, I think Daniels, who to me is the better character between the two, would've benefited more from the win than Hurricane.
Raven was short and sweet, which I liked and it was intense. He and Abyss make a great pairing and I look forward to seeing where this goes.
Sandow gets revenge and in a great way using The Hulkster's own finishing move on him and then following it up with a kick to the groin. It does allow for this feud to have a rubber match to really settle the score as to who is better between the two, in which I see Sandow winning again to contend for a championship run soon or enter a new high profile feud.
The air of mystery left as to why The UK where in Angle's locker room was a good decision. It made for Tyler Black's chances against them to seem impossible to beat. It made for the intensity of the match to grow and that I liked.
Sting won by extreme means which is good but I gave the edge to Abyss given the sense of danger he gave in the weeks leading to SummerSlam and the actual use of Janice, which I correctly assumed would be used in this match and the means that he'd do anything to please Raven in hurting Sting. The surprise that Sing won was nice but in my mind Abyss was more likely to win.
Orton gets some promo time.....interesting....could be he's the favorite to win.....
Ryback wins as I expected and Goldberg must leave Raw, so I'm guessing we'll see him on Nitro but given the way Ryback decided to end he may be out for a while. was this done to perhaps write Goldberg off?
Angle doesn't show and now The UK follow feeling confident they have the 3 on 1 advantage, only for Black to present his new partners....The Kings of Wrestling. 2 matches in one night, damn....should've been 3!!!! #wewantedthosetitlesthatnight

Great union but in the end a fallen ref allows for All American Perfection to send a message to The Kings and ultimately led to The UK's win.
I can't help but feel Black may not have more reason to continue pursuing after The UK given this loss. With Rhodes now focusing on the WWE Championship match to come if he wins, and Angle seemingly out while Punk is still going to face the masked man and will pursue a feud with him still (if he's revealed and even if he's not) while now The Kings also have to focus on the tag team match with All American Perfection. Black may soon be alone in fighting the full force of The UK (should continue pursuing that rivalry) unless he finds some much needed help soon.
Glad it was The Undertaker to dethrone Reks, he had a good run and now The Deadman, ha accomplished something he was never able to do in his real career, win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Here to a great reign from The Phenom.
Promo from the Masked Man...spoke in real general terms, not giving any hints as to who he may be. Good job with that.
Ambrose wins! Fuck yeah!!! Was really expecting him to win, no matter what and did so. Great win for Ambrose. Rock will b looking to get some payback on Nitro.
Seeing Jericho vs Aries continue as planned was fantastic booking, though I wish I could've seen the segment as it was meant to be since it was confirmed by Bear, Glam Girl and Tommy that it was not complete.
Punk wins!!! Though he does so with injured ribs and an exposed turnbuckle, leading to the Masked Man to feel his unmasking is not deserved. I loved the "the honorable thing" Punk said as the Masked Man was at the stage, as it led to the reveal of.....KURT ANGLE!!!!

I was told beforehand it was him, so my surprise was not that great but still what a reveal and swerve. I look forward to seeing the explanation Angle will give as to why he was the Masked Man and focused on Punk. That I truly don't know and am eager to know soon.
Seeing Lesnar was good but I did expect a change of scenery around the World Heavyweight Championship and Anderson was a perfect choice for it. Still good win for Lesnar.
Lita wins!!! Great win and....Nattie returns!!! Great tease at a future feud. I loved it.
Rhodes wins his title shot and awaits to see of will be Jericho or Aries, who he faces. Either way, it will be a great match.
Good Kidd promo, bit too long though.
Aries retains and it's going Aries vs Rhodes at Money in the Bank, that is gonna be a stellar match up. Where does JEricho goes from here? Raw will hopefully have some answers.
Hell of a War. Written by Eddie so it was the show stealer and we see Kidd retain against all the odds, giving him his biggest career win to date. Edge then fakes a show of respect before beating down Kidd until.....The MIZ!!!! makes the save and returns after about 4 months. Huge return and addition to Nitro. His return now begs the question, why now and what's he after? The gold? A feud with Edge? None of these questions at all....O___o?
Overall it was a great read, maybe a few more promos to help with transitions would've been good but this was a blockbuster of a PPV as one of the Big 4 should be. Now I am eager the build for the Survivor Series, the next of the Big 4 and if it's even half as good as the build for SummerSlam was that PPV is gonna amazing. Money in the Bank is next so I look frward what that PPV brings to the table soon.
