As for Money in the Bank, I'll admit it would've been a lot harder for me to win my world championships without it. But I won my first WWE Championship with it. I won my second without it, and my third, and my fourth come to think of it. I used it to win my first World Heavyweight Championship too, but as for the other six, I may have had help, but it wasn't from the Money in the Bank briefcase. As for the match itself, like I said, I redefined the ladder match.
Oh I'm not denying Lita helped me. Vickie helped me too, but that's what this business is Brock. That's what life is. If you have friends in high places, you get helped to the top. Like I said before, neither of them helped me stay at the top. Ric Flair would never have won anyway, he'd've fallen from the top because the old guy would have fallen asleep before he reached the briefcase. You have to realise Brock, as much as you deny it, Paul Heyman helped you to the top. Just like Lita helped me to the top. And I kept myself there by beating guys like John Cena, guys like Triple H, guys like Batista, guys like The Undertaker.
The thing was though Brock, I was offering them the chance to be at the top with me. I didn't hog the spotlight like you did. Lita and I had a live sex celebration. I didn't do an Ultimate Warrior and have a live sex celebration on my own- we had a live sex celebration together and it was the highest rated segment in years on Raw. Before The Miz started coming out with his nickname, I was the most must-see WWE Champion in the history of the company. For the first month I was the WWE Champion, Raw had never been rated higher. And let's face it, the only reason you let Paul Heyman speak is because you sounded like an idiot and he could talk- but nobody gave a damn about Heyman. They called it Brock Lesnar on his own- whereas Lita and I were the best couple in the WWE's history. We won the top titles in our divisions at the same time. That's how you share the spotlight Brock, and I wouldn't change a damn thing about how I did it.
Oh you did it faster than anybody, yeah that's for damn sure. The only guy that can compare to your quickness is Sheamus. Both of you, within a few months of debuting, were the WWE Champion. The only difference is Brock, the bookers and all of the backstage guys gave you that title too fast. Because you thought that was it, and that's why you turned your back on us and went off to fail at American Football. That's why you failed at becoming an elite MMA fighter, because you didn't deserve to be put on the same pedestal as some of the others- and just like Overeem did to you, just like Velasquez did to you, I'd only be too happy to put you back into your place.
