Okay guys, statement on the Punk issue:

The story behind why it was closed is simple- Bear originally wanted to give Punk up, as well as the rest of his characters. Obviously, with Punk being such a big part of Raw/Backlash and future plans, we decided to advertise him, knowing how popular he is with the IWC.

Then, Bear sent us a PM saying that he wanted to continue as both Punk & Orton. For that reason, we closed the advertising so we could discuss in HQ what to do. After extensive discussions, here is what we've got as a final decision:

Bear will NOT be allowed to just continue as Punk, he will however be given the chance to continue as Punk, along with anybody who wants to be Punk.

We're reopening the applications until tomorrow at some point (to be decided)- we will then send out a promo assignment to all of the applicants, including Bear, for Raw (which will be late this week). The best/most Punk-like promo will decide who takes over as Punk.

THBK will be back for the final decision.
