It should be fine, It'll run on most things. As I said, if you're unsure, just avoid picking too many leagues and it should be fine.

Was it sandboxed or blocked in someway? Will stop the patch/update from working possibly!

ALSO: When starting a game, the screen may go black, this is normal. When the cursor is over the screen, it will be a 'football' - Just wait patiently, as clicking will usually freeze the game. It only takes 30 seconds or so to load up.

I would also advise looking under the settings and changing them to 'Maxium Database', this usually improves the game experience due to the largely unknown players in some of the smaller leagues and teams, some of which can become amazing.
