Am I? Have I ever? Well I actually agree with TT here. This in the wrong context can show how efedding can be taken way to serious

There's nothing too serious here...Dont look at it as a trademark,just look at it as saying what phrases you use so others dont get confused and use them as well. Its just a little helper .

Yeah this is a pretty bad idea lol

What's to stop someone trademarking 'Monster Heel' or 'Best in the World'. Both are very generic in their own way and would be quite laughable if someone attempted to trademark. Names of finishers like my characters 'Lansdale Lockdown' or Ronaldo Romulus' 'Wrath of Remus' would be fair enough, and as TT says, show names, PPV names and such are all fine. But catchphrases? Y2J and Punk in WWE both claim to be 'the best in the world' (Y2J: At everything he does), it wouldn't work is what am saying.

It's basically like me saying "Erebus is a Monster Type wrestler therefore he can be the only one in any fed, please stop using Grind Bastard, Ano Doom, and every other Monster Type."

Or am I missing the point?

Your halfway right...Finishers and nicknames are what its for...Monster heel will never be used on a show so its irrelevant. Its just a way to keep names and phrases unique..Its not about gimmicks.

Exactly. Here's an example:

I'm trademarking the nickname "The Venom knight". It's for a new character I'm planning that will be called Ano Doom (which I am also trademarking by the way).

See? It's not going to work people. It's a silly idea that will just cause conflict as people fight to "trademark" the things they want. That episode with R(ob) threatening to sue HWA over this type of thing is clear proof that this is a bad idea. Sorry to bring that up again, but it's a perfect example of how ridiculous an idea this is. That episode cause bad friction that ended sour.

I think I get the point of it now, well I won't stop anyone doing this! If someone wants to call dibs on a specific phrase then fair play to them. It's not like anyone is going to intentionally steal someone elses ideas anyway
