Who do you use to lead the fire teams?

Usually Garrus but I chose Miranda this time, as a reward for letting me get freaky with her.

I use Mordin to take the crew back, Garrus or Thane to lead the fire team while I take Garrus/Thane and Tali/Kasumi/Miranda to take on the human reaper.

I've heard that Miranda is the only teammate that can't die.

Yeah, pretty sure she gets to survive so that the cerberus end of ME3 makes a bit more sense, but not completely certain.
I just take her with me to have a biotic to throw at the collectors, plus I like the dynamic of the ultimate Cerberus agent at one end, and Tali at the other, arguing over the collector base
used to take Jack, but Tali's drone is super-useful in the boss fight (especially when the Scions show up)

You know I honestly am not sure.
Cerberus gets the parts of the Human Reaper anyway, and goes all tech-crazy on their dudes (Until we get out, and kill everybody, thereby keeping the Cerberus tradition alive)

After Shepard dealt with the Collectors, Cerberus sent teams through the Omega-4 Relay to salvage Reaper technology from the Collector Base, whether it was destroyed or preserved. In Cronos Station, it is discovered that Cerberus recovered the Human-Reaper and are using it to augment the station's functionality—either its brain if the Collector Base was preserved or its heart if the Collector Base was destroyed. When the Alliance captures Cronos Station, the Human-Reaper's remains are incorporated into the Crucible, becoming War Assets
