April: The Best Month for Wrestling (Except TNA?)
It is pretty hard to debate that April is not the best month for professional wrestling. We have Wrestlemania from WWE, amazing events from ROH, DG:USA, and many other Indy Feds, and finally TNA's Lockdown. But is it smart of TNA to put their second largest PPV in the same month as WWE's Super Bowl?
My opinion is that it just does not make good business sense. Not too many people are going to want and spend more money after shelling out over $50 less than two weeks prior to WWE for WM. This is not even considering if you went to Wrestlemania and spent money at all of the Indy and Access events. Lockdown should be moved to May. You have the hangover from Wrestlemania and it is before the build-up for Money in the Bank which is becoming a top 5 WWE PPV.

The TNA fanboys i'd assume would buy it regardless. For the average wrasslin fan though it might be burnout, I dunno? We'll have to wait until the numbers come out. Me personally, i'm not really bothered cos' i'll probably be streaming both events!!

No, because April is the most important month in the year for wrestling as a whole.
Why do you think all the indy promotion are doing their own shows in WM weekend.

They should do a free ppv on spike tv that airs before wm just my opinion. Make no mistake they should make sure to be on point that night

Why move it to May???? TNA already have Slammiversary in June, that 2 months separation with their 2nd and 3rd biggest PPVs of the year....
Also it not like it will make a huge difference moving it anyway???? People will either choose to buy both or one or none or stream them.... Plus it a 2 week difference, plus Extreme Rules is 2 weeks after that!!! so the last few days of March and the month of April will be a good month to be a Wrestling fan!!!
Maybe we should call it Wrestling Appreciation Month??We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!

How many people are not going to buy Wrestlemania because they want to save their money for Lockdown?
Now how many people are going to not watch or stream Lockdown because they already spent enough money on Wrestlemania?
The second choice is going to be significantly higher. That is my point. Having Lockdown in April is going to lose TNA buys.

Most fans buy or already has plans to watch Wrestlemania.... Then with Lockdown being one of TNA's biggest PPVs most wrestling fans will buy it no matter, just cause of the match settings...We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
