I honestly haven't looked at many prospects, but if we don't get an Offensive Lineman or a Cornerback in the first round, I will be extremely pissed.

All 1st round talent who probably won't be taken in the first round necessarily because this is a defensive draft. Jenkins has too much off-field crap going on and has a bad attitude. He'll be an above-average CB with a Deion Sanders type attitude. You need a CB who can cover Megatron, Marshall, Jennings (who they face 2x a year) and V-Jax, Fitz, and Andre Johnson. That's Claiborne. Minnesota has Peterson at RB and Harvin to run wildcat, taking pressure off of Ponder.

I can see the need at corner, obviously, because of the people they are against. But Vikes ain't gonna win this year, you might as well try and build Ponder's confidence with a good O-line for me, or you just won't put the points up to even compete.

The others you mentioned are good, none are quite starting left tackles from Day 1.

If you can curb it out of Jenkins, good. I just think they might as well go for him this year, because they are still finishing 4th in their division.

Who do you support then man? Assuming Patriots since you are from Boston?

Two words: Chad Clifton.

He was just released by the Packers. Yes he is old, but he can mentor the left tackle they choose and he is still a Pro Bowler. Or, he can be a replacement for a year until the next draft and/or free agency. He still has it. Claiborne is a talent you won't come across a lot. They are a run-oriented team, with Gerhart, a Heisman Trophy finalist, as the back-up. Harvin is versatile. They just signed Jerome Simpson as their #2 WR. They'll be fine. Their defense sucks besides Chad Greenway and Jared Allen. They need Claiborne. End of story. Would I be shocked if they chose Kalil? No, but it would be a bad move.
