Now that I'm officially an Inferno Superstar, I can post feedback on the show, since I'm involved in it
Could've done it without being on the roster but I thought I'd wait.
Jameson. His segment as a whole was good and showed why he won at the PPV and now chosen to lead a team for Inferno. Jameson is quickly becoming one of the premiere names in EWNCW and that was my favorite moment to see.
Best Piece of Booking:
Having a fresh intake of talents headline the show. I'm on creative for Inferno and know for certain that some of the main event talents we have, haven't shown they really should be there. So to me it was refreshing to see other talents show they can headline the show and possibly be the ones to be called main event superstars in due time.
Any Piece of Booking You Didn't Like:
Lack of commentary throughout most the entire show. Inferno theme. No commentary. Tommy comes out. No commentary. Sweet promo. No commentary. Commercial and we return again to....no commentary. It was just a huge turn off to know that putting out the show soon meant sacrificing such a vital aspect of the show. Commentary is what help us (the viewers) know a lot of what's going on and also helps with transitions to help the action go smoother and also make the show be the best it can be.
I couldn't imagine what it would be (at least in the Attitude Era) what it would've been to hear Stone Cold come out and stun everyone without hearing JR go ape shit. Commentary is a vital part of any show even if they don't get the credit they are sometimes due. Tonight is a good example of that. I would've rather as a viewer have waited a few extra hours or days at that to see a show as it should've been....with commentary.
Main event. Lansdale vs Kingstrem was great to see. The finish...even more so. Kingstrem losing his focus via the crowd chants shows that his head is still not in the right place after the devastating loss to Jameson and Lansdale was there to seize on that and pick up the win. Good job.
Juarez/Hawk Raging Inferno Situation. It was an interesting segment to say the least. I know Juarez is looking to make good on his promise to take out Hawk so going to Rage even if it's for a month was interesting to say the least and know Hawk is not one to a challenge lying so how he goes about it Juarez in the next month will be interesting to see to say the say least.
Any Matches and/or Promos That Could've Been Improved:
Same thing as my RTE feedback. Some segments don't merit their own posts for the sake of making the show longer. Be real and show the best show you can even if post wise you do just 9-11 posts vs the 14-15 that are shown now to make the show seem like more than it is.
Any Final Positives:
Seeing a lot good things like DJ Williams winning, Slayde debuting, Hostile Takeover looking strong, etc.
Anything Else That Fell Below Your Expectations?
Covered most of that. I'll agree with Torphy though saying this show had too many short promos. Maybe it was lack of time, lack of passion or just lack of anything for that matter but when you get a promo assignment, you gotta make due with it and showcase why creative trusted you with one and put some more effort into them. They don't have to be super long promos, just promos with more substance and intensity behind them.
This is EWNCW. The original fed, been here longer than most and gone through probably a lot more changes than most. At one time considered the best of the best, it's fallen and if we want it to be among the feds called the best in EWN the talents need to show they want that too and putting out better promos is key to that.
