5) OK so even though I am trying to take this seriously I still have to point out some of the humour or as you Americans says humor:
Terry Murdock: The first pinfall of the match!
Nick Newman: Thank you captain obvious.
LOL
Not just this though the commentary was on point all night. Here are some other examples
....
Robert Goodman: Come on ref! Do something!! Payne is being double teamed!
Nick Newman: Thats the way a tag team match works, get use to it!
....
Luke Douglas: Is that legal?
Terry Murdock: You wanna tell him that he can't do that?
Luke Douglas: Uhhhh no..
Robert Goodman: Didn't think so.
Nick Newman: I'll say some...*looks at Torcher who is smiling twisted like* Nevermind
....
Luke Douglas: Miguel Tenorio gets out of there in time and now Schlong can get some offense in.
....
Nick Newman: Quality tag team is heading to the ring and the fans boo them? Are they fucking high?
And It goes on. Great show for the commentators
4) FINALLY! FINALLY; no its not the Rock, it the fact that God’s Grace have finally got their hands on the Ultimate Oppertunity Contracts after narrowly losing out on them last time to Dawn of Destruction. During that period God’s Grace had been kept at Arms length but at War is the Answer finally got there dues. Some really fast paced action from Holy Hose and Bradley that continued throughout the match near fall after near fall. However when all was said and done; GG pulled of the Tiger Bomb-Cutter combo and got the cover huge win for them but I don’t think that Dawn of Destruction won’t be asking for a return match.
3) An Inferno Match that ends in a draw!? Yes that is right and thats got to be a wrestling first. The battle between former BWA World Champs High (or is it hugh) Voltage and the BWA Intercontinental Champions now known as Cirque de Freak but formally known as BWA greats Freak Inc the match was yet another all out drag out classic on this card that all ready has a sterling representation. I love the fact that CDF threw tons of weaponry into the ring before it was lit on fire yet another thing that begs belief. There is the usual exchange of typical scary moments where you think somebodies head will be set on fire. It was brutal back and forth exchange between a team that will surely one day climb the blacklist and one team that may do it again for the second time. The bout ended with Gillz sending slither through a flaming table and Twisted sending Wells through a flaming table too. This was a superbly booked match that leaves me hoping for a return match so we can settle it.
2) The Daymian Bloodstone 450 splash; after a Hell in a Cell match that defied the confinds of the devils playground its only fitting that it’s finish defied Gravity, sanity and Bloodstones instinct for self preservation. The mat technician and CNK cohort Billy McCoy placed EWNCW Greats Tai Night and Matt Elder both on a table for Daymian to come off the top of the tron with a death defying 450 splash. McCoy then pulled Elder from the carnage and applied the always bone crunching Kimura to end the bout.
No one team meant more to the early days of EWNCW than The Force of Greatness, No Team meant more to the early days of BWA than CNK therefore this was a match I’ve always wanted to see and it did not disappoint. As two of the king pins in Team BWA banished the two king pins of Team EWNCW on the night that this historic war game to its conclusion, Great match, Great Finish; A moment that will live forever.
1) Well quite simply the best match ever in the history of BWA if not EWN: The Shadow of Madness vs The Jesting Madness. Ever since Orion Slayde made his debut in BWA nobody has been able to stop The Shadow and his mammoth partner the always terrifying Abel. But almost in paradox the cocky and brash talker William Carlin came to EWNCW not only did he impress most of the female fans but also the Strange Monster Grind_Bastard the two formed a team and minced their way through the EWNCW’s so, so Tag Division post The Force of Greatness and Godmoney Era. Both Team on top of the world and both needed better competition and when EWNCW merged with BWA months previously the match became possible. The match was full of action some brutal some videogame and some down right outrageous. The match kicked off with neither team giving an inch and that was perpetuated thoughout the first fall ended with Abel giving Carlin a huge Abelslam through 2 tables! At the start of the second fall Jesting Madness zoned in on the knee of Slayde that had been targeted in the preceding weeks on Brutality. The two teams trade excruciating submission holds and a brutal headbut from Grind busts open Abel, however with the application of the most vicious submission ever (Slayde in a sharpshooter and Cattle Mutilation at the same time) that is pure torture that and I am alittle bit worried about the sanity of the Writing team after that move. But at this point we are far beyond sanity. The 3rd fall sees the near dead competitors trade brutal blows, Abels nose is busted again and Slayde hits a big boot that sandwiches Grinds head into the cage. They proceded to trade finishers the Nightmere in the Shadows by the BWA World Champs and “The Beheading” from the EWNCW Tag Champs. Carlin is sent down to hell through the damn ring leading him to win in JBL style from No Way Out 2005 against Big Show. Hopefully this means there is a rematch on the cards some day. Match of the Year candidate for sure! Really great PPV made me really prowed to be apart of what Brutality is! Big Brutality shock coming up so stay tuned.
