Yeah I hear ya brother. If real life beckons and there's some reason that you can't get an assignment back on time, folks should give a heads up. When I was writer for SHOWDOWN! over in JBW, it bothered me greatly when I had planned to have a show out by a certain date and had to postpone it due to people being late. That's one reason I always try to get in my assignments within a very short period of time.

Exactly, if there's a real life issue that comes up, then all I ask is that people tell me. It takes less than 5 minutes to write a short VM or PM explaining why you're going to be late getting something in or not able to get something in at all. I won't be mad, I'll understand, because I know as good as anyone that real life comes first and that it can get in the way of things here sometimes.
But if you just don't tell me, ignore messages I send you, and be an ass about it like that, then it annoys me.

It's frustrating since there's matches still not written (you don't need promos from anyone to write matches) and there's a couple of promos still not in for certain segments (I have no idea why). We give people the chance to have precious promo time on shows, you'd think that they'd be eager to get them in asap really, especially given that we don't usually have many promos on these type of special shows.
