who of you guys go to college?

I've done 4 years at university, and now in college.

did you guys ever feel like you wanted to quit college?

University, I felt like quitting several times. I pushed through each time though.
I've been in college since September, and quitting hasn't crossed my mind once.

My advice would be to stick too it man. Employment isn't exactly at an all time high right now in this country, and our generation is finding it VERY hard to get jobs (that's why I'm in college right now, since I spent a year looking, but couldn't get a job with my degree).
Any qualification you get will only make you more attractive to potential employers, so stick with it I say.
Unless of course you're doing a something you're not enjoying, or something that you don't think you'd want to go into as a job. But if that is indeed the case, I'd question why you chose to do that course in the first place. There must have been something there for you to want to do it.

With that I think I have everything for Rage. however, show won't go up until tomorrow, since I'm beat. I've just come back from football training an hour or so ago, and I have a full day of college ahead of me tomorrow, which includes a practical session. So I don't really want to miss tomorrow (I've already missed Monday this week, and my tutor said that he expects me to be in tomorrow).
So with that in mind, I'll be heading to bed soon-ish.

University you get a degree from. You have to pay for the course (a big yearly fee). Most undergraduate courses are 3 years, medical courses like dentist, doctors are 6 years. Upon completing that you can go on to do a Masters degree in a specific subject which is an extra year (this is what I did), and after that, you can go on to do a PHD which is another 3 years where you have to write a huge massive thesis on a certain topic.
In University you have lectures (usually just a few hours a day) and you go out drinking a lot, and do all sorts of crazy stuff in your spare time. You'd usually live on the University campus for your first year (and sometimes second) before moving into a house with your friends.

College is an extension of school. Most people go to college after leaving school at the age of 16 (you'd wait to finish school at 18 to go to University), and you'd go on to study various courses that range from learning a trade, like carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying, electrician etc, or a beauty course (for girls (and some boys I guess)) IT and computers etc.
Some people also go to college to do their final 2 years of school instead of staying in school to complete those exams.
The qualification you'd gain from college varies from course to course. The qualification I'm getting for example is a Level 2 diploma and NVQ in Electrical Engineering. I'm also getting some other qualification which I can't remember what it is lol.
Also, you'd be staying at home if you were at college, as they don't provide halls for you to live in.

But in short, yeah, there's a massive difference between both. Take it from a guy who's experienced both!

Ah ok. Yeah in the US University and College are interchangeable. Your college sounds a lot of our Trade Schools or Community College interesting to know how it works!

i was undecided about where i wanted to go in life untill my last year of High School
i only did the last year because i was undecided
at some point the thought of becoming an architect crossed my mind
thus i applied to get into an Architectural Technology course at college at HND(Higher National Diploma) level
but now im back to were i was before

Funny. The so called Bologna Process to unify European degrees should follow this model, (although I thought it was 3+2 years of master). In Spain we opted for a 4 years degree+ 1 of master. Moronic. Is this supposed to unify titles? The why using a different course duration?

For you to know, my degree in English (with the old plan) was 5 years, no master. Then I failed completing the PHD (optative) for several reasons, and finally made a one year master (completed this October) in North American studies in a different Uni. The result? Unemployment, and barely any chance to find almost anything, besides door-to-door saleman or telemarketer. I'm appying to the car factory, like a vintage early XX century worker, as they will recruit new folks soon. Turning myself into a metalhead version of Chaplin in Modern Times.
