That the WWE is planning on the Miz having an impact on the Rock vs John Cena match they are crazy. This match has to be won clean by Cena to have a changing of the guard and quite possibly help Cena get a little heat off of him from the fans. Some might see it as the Rock giving Cena his blessing as the fore front of Raw. I think maybe the Miz should attack Cena and Rock after their match and say something like this is my Wrestlemania moment, but he shouldn't have a direct impact on the match. The only thing that can change the WWE a bit is IF the WWE/World Heavyweight Championships change hands or if the streak will end, The Rock vs Cena has become a big disappointment at least on my end so WrestleMania for me is not about Rock vs Cena. Its Punk vs Jericho, Bryan vs Sheamus and HHH and Taker in HIAC. So Miz can do what it takes to get his WM moment only if it least a decent career turnaround for 2012 if not then its a waste of time for sure.

My point exactly. Had this been built up properly I would understand the need to not tarnish this match but it wasn't. It can be talked about, it can be enjoyed but it wasnt built to the standard that it had to be a WrestleMania match, a SummerSlam match maybe but not WrestleMania.

I mean the biggest PPV of the WWE and the ''biggest'' match of its time and its been....meh so why get worked up over what happens if it ends clean or not? I would rather have no expectations of what will happen and be genuinely surprised at the outcome than expect something that might not live up to the year's ''worth of hype'' this match was supposed to have to make a true WrestleMania main event match that the whole world needed to see. Honestly, hand on heart. If they dropped the match of the card it wouldn't phase me in the slightest. Yes I'll watch it. Yes I might enjoy it when it's on. But it is in no way grabbing my attention before the bell rings I'm afraid. Dwayne was great. WAS. He is now living off of a 7 years old wave of adoration. And I for one sir, got out of the water years ago. Now he is just an old, once entertaining wrestling legend. Coming back to pout from the turn bucket, shout Boooooootz to Assssssezzzzz and pick up a massive pay cheque. Couple that with Mr "You can't pin me (cleanly)" and I'm supposed to get excited and look forward to this match?

Although I don't share your views the same, I do agree with a majority of what you said. IMO "The Attitude Era" was six years too long. I liked the "flash and flare" of it all but The Rock in my eyes has always been overrated. Yes, he's good on the mic but to me that's about it. I could honestly care less about this match. John "Five Moves Of Doom" Cena VS. Dwayne "Seven Moves Of Doom" Johnson, The Rock. Like many others, my focus is on CM Punk VS. Chris Jericho and Undertaker VS. Triple H... so far. I'm actually more excited for Team GM VS. Team GM moreso than I am for Rock VS. Cena. Real talk.

A clean finish does NOT define a great match. I.E The Rock VS. Steve Austin @ WMXVII... awesome match. Swerve finish, great memories.

So far they are doing it right. Put Cena over Rock etc. It's all messed up though cause Cena is already a superstar but no one likes him. Just a weird situation. Cena would get a more potent fan base if he wins dirty.

In kayfabe terms, I'd be SUPER PISSED if the Miz helps Cena screw the Rock. As we all know, when you really hate something in wrestling, that means it's doing a great job.

Miz and Cena could go on to be a tag team and wins the titles. Two guys that everyone should hate, have mediocre wrestling skills would do well in the tag team division.
