    Lord Tensai(Giant Bernard, A-Train)

According to Wrestling Observer.com, Matt Bloom, known in New Japan Pro Wrestling as Giant Bernard and formerly known in the WWE as Prince Albert, A-Train and Albert, has re-signed with the company.
Bloom will make his return to the company after WrestleMania XXVIII, and it's speculated that he will play the role of henchman to John Laurinaitis.

    Thoughts?

Was a fan of his work and I hear it improved over at Japan. Hoping he gets a good push.

I am kinda hoping that Bernard doesn't leave NJPW. He is over in Japan and draws in a crowd.

    Lord Tensai's limited opponents

Having watched the Tensia vs Riley match it would seem that The E are going to have to be very careful who they put in the ring with this truck of a wrestler. Before I go any further can I just say I'm not in any way criticising him as a wrestler. He was always pretty decent before going to Japan and there he improved greatly.

The trouble I see is the same trouble they have with Henry. If you put small-medium sized jobbers-lower mid card against him they just become squash matches and they are only entertain for a very short amount of time (see Clay's current squash run). You also can't really put him against really quick high flyers. A match with Kofi or Hunico is just going to look really awkward and mismatched. Cause although he can shift at times, most of his ring work involves being big and intimidating and using power moves, whilst the high flyers are running around everywhere. They just look like a fly buzzing around a grizzly and sooner or late the fly gets swatted. Then you have big guys. Like Kane, Henry, Clay, Show etc.. Well if you are trying to build up Tensai as a big monster, then putting him in with guys his own size or bigger kind of takes the edge of his dominant size.

So this really leave the midcard-main event guys. God help Swagger, Drew, Mahal, Jackson etc...

The Royal Rumble is the largest singles match ever.

They need to take a leaf out of Japan's book and persist with helping smaller guys (eg. DBD, Punk) look like a legitimate threat to bigger guys because they have the skills. The bigger dog doesn't always win the fight in real life either.
