Question Who Will The Tough Enough Trainers Be?

    With the return of Tough Enough, it's got me thinking who they will use for trainers. Here are my most likely picks;

*William Regal - just signed on for another 42 months
*Finlay - what he is already doing
    *Jamie Noble - see Finlay
*Jillian Hall - if they do Divas
*Val Venis - can't see them doing much with him on the active roster (much the same as Chris Masters)

Since they'd never give the job of hosting to an Englishman(the powers that be think American audiences won't take to this), then Regal's out, though he'd be well suited, IMO. Matt Striker is the most likely. I'd like to see Arn Anderson hosting personally - he's a very underrated talker.

These seem like the most likely picks. They may even bring in Billy Kidman and Norman Smiley from FCW

    William Regal
    Finlay
    Al Snow

Edge (yes, I've seen him appear on a show similar to tough enough, he is very motivational)
    Beth Phoenix

I agree with Regal, Finley, Noble, and Venis... Al Snow is employed by TNA at the moment, so it's unlikely for him. Another potential option could be Chris Jericho, if he wants to cut back on his in-ring schedule.

As I stated on another thread, bring back Bill DeMott.

Finlay is pretty much odds on to be on it, Noble probably too, and Billy Kidman is another good shout. With Regal signing a new contract, there is a good chance we'll see him there too. I hope Val Venis will go on the main roster. He has great mic skills, and is a great wrestler, and he can still go in the ring IMO. Alas, it's likely that he's been brought in for Tough Enough. Jillian will be the divas trainer, as they said that she would be taken off the main roster for a while.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
    Ezekiel 25:17.

I know he's busy as a road agent with the company right now, but it's hard to imagine a better trainer than Dean Malenko. At least for the technical side, that is. Obviously, he is not one of the best talkers there has ever been, but his ring skills are hard to match.

Other than Malenko, I think that Triple H is clearly one of the most valuable members of the company as a trainer, though I don't expect to see him in that role as I expect to see him in the ring for at least another 3 years.

Since Jillian Hall has already been placed in a training role, I'm sure she'll be involved. I do agree, though, that Bill DeMott ought to be brought back. He was so agile for a man his size and could be a valuable aide for bigger trainees.

Malenko, Finaly, Val, Regal, Kidman, Jillian Hall and DeMott.

Sounds really good! Special trainers would be Jericho and HHH. I'm sold already.

I was thinking Christian but didn't want to put it out there as it would effectively spell the end of any future pushes for him. He'd be a trainer from then on, Vince would make sure of it.
Jericho would be great. Vince doesn't like Undertaker appearing out of character so I don't think that he's likely.

The more I think of it though, the more likely it seems that with Regal they would have no need for DeMott - what's he doing these days anyway? If WWE played it smart, they would utilise former stars more here such as Kevin Nash, HBK, Malenko, even Scott Hall or Jake Roberts if they could clean up long enough
