TLC PPV - What's The Point?

Since the PG tsunami came and washed all the decent hardcore out of WWE, I really question the effectiveness of this PPV. I mean, look at the Christian/Shelton Benjamin debacle from last year. How many match 'pauses' is it going to take for fans to get fed up and realise that if WWE isn't going to take the concept seriously, why should we?

they just want to make easy cash by using gimmicky ppvs. what wwe fails to understand is that they totally suck as hyping ppvs and storylines, even the ppv theme music is lame. The only ppv wwe hypes up is WM. If wwe hyped up every ppv the way they do WM, it would definitely pay off. They used to hype up ppvs and stack cards so wonderfully in the early 2000s

we already had 3 matches involving ladders this year. 3 MITB matches, and now what 2 more? (ladder + tlc?).
