I can really say that the WWE is not trying to make us like John Cena because after watching the hour special thing I really liked Cena a little bit more. And if the WWE wanted us to like him they would show something like that for John Cena every week.

I loved it, the match itself was about what I expected, great stuff.

SIMPLY PUT I WAS SHOCKED THE ROCK won in a good way . Although I don't know what business since it makes for the rock to win other than sending the crowd home happy

the match was great. I saw Cena do stuff I had not seen him do in a long time. When was last time he climbed on the top rope? Now the aftermath......Rock better show up on RAW tonight or I discredit his victory; and what is left for Cena to do now? There could maybe be a best 2 outta 3 series with Rock but other than that what else can WWE have for him? Even if he DOES turn heel.

Eh I thought it would be better..so i guess i'm disappointed. I got bored during the match and went outside to check the mail. Walked in rock winning so the whole match wasn't worth the year of hype.

My Veiw Of WM28 (By A So-Called TNA Mark)

Now I know from a lot of my posts, comments, threads, etc... I have pretty much put down WWE and praised TNA (although I have put TNA down in some instances) and some of you may consider me to be a TNA mark. However I grew up with WWF/E and Wrestlemania has always been a big deal to me every year even if I haven't watched the Raw's/Smackdown's leading up to Mania. Wrestlemania has always been something I hold dear to me ever since my first viewing of WM9.

As I'm in the UK I didn't fancy staying up til 5am to watch it so waited until this evening and the first time in years I steered clear of the internet in general in case I accidentally saw a spoiler. I wanted to watch it as fan like the good 'ol days before the internet. I wanted WWE to surprise me, to suck me into the aura of Wrestlemania. To bring out all sorts of emotions in me I haven't used for a wrestling show/ppv in a long time. And I am pleased to say WWE succeeded, I'm going to go down the list of a couple matches and short note of what I thought of them.

    Sheamus Vs. Daniel Bryan.

Now I was completely surprised at how quick Sheamus won, I was glad he won the Title. But then I started to think, hang on a minute this is a WORLD title match, in the opening match at WM, with the Royal Rumble winner. After it sinking in, I realized that it was B.S. No match should end that quickly at WM period, when it involves the Royal Rumble winner and the world title someone needs to be fired.

    Taker Vs. HHH.

Don't know about anyone else but I thought this match was better than their match last year. I was ready to come on here a bitch about how for the second year Taker is booked to look weak against HHH mid-way thought the match but Taker came back strong and even kicked out of a SCM/Pedigree combo which was insane. I genuinely thought HHH was going to end the streak, I really believed it. I popped so much during that match and I've never done that in years.

    Punk Vs. Jericho.

Thought this match was awesome not as much an edge of the seat stuff like Taker/HHH, but it was brilliant none the less. The fact that Punk made Jericho tap at Mania was unbelievable. Punk just wouldn't quit, I like that because I believed Jericho was gonna get the win multiple times.

    Rock Vs. Cena.

I enjoyed this match and Rocky proved he can still go. like the other match above was shocked Rock got the win, was so sure Cena had it won near the end.

Overall I thoroughly enjoy WM, more so than last year. I was some what hoping for Brock to put in an appearance but even though he didn't show it didn't take away my enjoyment of the show. All I can say is well done to the WWE and everyone involved for putting on an incredible show.

    Sucked in! Wrestlemania style.

So this year it was the carrot of Brock and/or Batista to try and bump up the last minute buy rates for Mania. Previous years it's been other possible returns (most of which don't seem to happen in the end).

So do people really fall for these rumours and buy PPVs they wouldn't normally of?
