The thing that has kept me so involved with Roodes Title Reign has been the buildup of his character. I have vested a great deal of time in watching his evolution and I am quite happy with the results. This reign has felt fresh, deserved, and given to the heel change that was much needed for his character. Honestly, I think he is by far one of the better heels in the industry right now. The guy has kept me happy with his in ring work and has played his part well enough to get my wife talking about how much she really wishes he wasn't champion anymore because of the how much he "stepped over the line" (he was pretty hands on with Dixie which isn't looked too highly upon imo, and he spit on her which is just insulting on many levels I don't care to get into right now) in his reign... The It Factor gimmick has played well to audiences because it has drawn out so much emotion from the guys who were savvy to the business, knowing he deserved the belt and the newer people to the product who genuinely hate him for his actions, even if they were scripted... If the reign ended, I wouldn't be hurt by it or call it a bad move... I just personally feel that the Storm/Roode feud should culminate with Storm winning the title back at Bound for Glory, not Lockdown. But the Tennessee crowd will justify the means to the reigns end.
