While watching Smackdown I saw Natayla team up with the faces, but I thought she was a heel? So why would she be a face on smackdown?

That's a good point, I think Beth and Eve are just about the only heel divas on the roster now (unless you count Maxine on NXT of course).
Plus, Layla will surely be a face when she returns, and so will Kharma (although she'd make a much better heel).

I do like the idea of beth vs the rest of the divas division though.

Or how about Beth and Natayla become dominant but then Kharma comes back and takes Natayla's spot (turning Natayla face) then Beth and Kharma become dominant leading to divas tag team championships debuting.
