    It could work if he completely drops the scottish gimmick. And the gimmick would be destroyed if Scotland leave Great Britain(which may happen within the next few years). But atleast its a gimmick for a talented guy and he should be getting a push with the tour coming up.

    Can someone remind me a) What Davey Boy's British Bulldog gimmick actually entailed. Cause I'm not sure a flag and a short dog really cuts it as a proper wrestling gimmick. b) Why anyone would think that replicating it with Drew would be anything other than a very transparent rip off?

    He could get that really cool mullet with the braided bits at the back! I think this topic idea is without merit as, like TOOL said, there was no real gimmick there. He just inherited the name from his tag team, they never stopped referring to him as Davey Boy Smith, did they? Of any gimmick to recycle, this is not one of them.

    Only an Aussie could use the words cool and mullet in the same sentence and think it was acceptable.

    Haha, I actually admit to having a mullet too. Once upon a time (it was the 80's). But NOT cool. Not cool.
