Modern Wrestling/No Internet - For Better or Worse?

It's amazing to think how different wrestling would be today with no spoilers or other sources to dig for dirt. Do you think it would be better without it or does it matter?

I don't think it matters. Im fairly certain the "average fans" outnumber the "internet fans"

Well as I stated elsewhere, without the internet I'd still be slightly behind and I'd have much less people to discuss it with. So I guess it's encouraged it to be a bit more global

It has both bad and good. If no internet existed, no idea of wrestling outside TV would be known. So stuff like ROH and indy promotions would be in trouble compared to today. On the other hand, no flame wars with other wrestling fans.

The internet has killed all the suprises. There are no more shocks. Everyone knows who has been signed and will be debuting. I suppose it was more prominant in the Monday Night Wars as no one really knew what the heck was going on and it was exciting.

Only the people who read the spoilers have the surprises killed.
