06-03-2012, 08:55 AM #43On Blast from the Past today, I thought we would take a look back to 01/04/1993 and a NJPW/WCW cross-brand Title for Title match featuring the IWGP Heavyweight Champion - The Great Muta - vs. the NWA Heavyweight Champion - Masahiro Chono. This is truly a classic match.

The rest of the show is in it's entirety.

Great thread Dr. Death!
This thread wouldn't be complete without the Magnum vs Tully I quit match. The biggest compliment I can give to this match is that when I was a kid, despite the fact that I knew wrestling was "fake", I genuinely thought Magnum and Tully hated each other. This is as intense as it gets!

06-09-2012, 07:53 AM #50I was a huge fan of Magnum TA and remember his feuds with Nikita Koloff and Tully Blanchard. Those feuds and matches were very intense. I'd like to present a two out of three fall match on Blast from the Past. It'll be from September 13, 1986 - For the US Title - Nikita Koloff vs. Magnum TA.
