Just read the NXT spoilers, and apparently Reks & Hawkins were fired.
Iknow the spring clean is up, but this smells kayfabe.

Correction - Only Reks was fired, because he lost the match.

But yes, this is kayfabe. Although in a month or so, Im afraid it could be a reality, since neither of them have been doing much, except on NXT and Superstars.

I'm just glad it's Tyler Reks. The OP had me worried thinking that it was Hawkins. He's a pretty good wrestler, somewhat entertaining and well.....he' on my URALEAGUE team.

Perhaps they'll form a three-man team with Drew McIntyre. (The latter giving you an idea of how much "fired" means in storyline these days. And they wonder why nobody takes these things seriiously.)

It you read it correctly you'll see that both off them were "fired"

* Tyler Reks beat Curt Hawkins with a roll-up. Striker hits Hawkins with the cane. Regal also fires Reks. Reks goes nuts as NXT goes off the air.

Hope this isn't the end of their Tag Team "career".
I liked them as a tag team, and give them a proper feud.

At least get them on TV, and not as jobbers!
