The Improvement in David Otunga

Is anyone else seeing the great improvement this guy has had recently? Think back around this time last year, we all absolutely hated this guy didn't we?

Fast forward to today and I think this guy has improved some his in ring work a lot, and is in good contention to eventually win the US Title. The thing I still think is holding him back is his gimmick. I just don't like the whole lawyer thing. Maybe he could take another step in the right direction by changing that.

So does anyone see David Otunga as a future main eventer any time in the future? And if so, what do you think he has to do to get there?

I was starting to thing he might be getting better, but than he botched his match on RAW pretty bad.

I never hated him.. Just didn't have an opinion on him. Now though im a fan.
I personally love the lawyer gimmick and don't see the need to change it either! He seem's alot more confident in and out of the ring which is a good sign of his progress, I'm not sure I see him as a world champion but as US champion yeah!

I am still not a fan of his wrestling ability. But I think the lawyer gimmick and Ace are the best thing's going for him right now.

the main event line is really long right now, but his close relationship with the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and General Manager of both Raw and SmackDown he will have opportunities to be in main events, but as far as a title, it will be the US.

His lawyer gimmick is pretty much all I like about him at this point. He has a boring move set and his power moves look like they lack power. His finisher doesn't look like it'd finish anyone! Plus did you see Monday? Rubbish! I understand bad matches happen though. If he swaps up his move set and made his moves look more devistating I think I could like him. He does look a lot more confident these days so that's definetly a step in the right direction for him.

I don't mind Otunga. Love the gimmick though. He's improving steadily; I wouldn't mind seeing him with a couple of US Championship reigns thoughout 2012. I see him as a strong mid carder, but deffo not a main eventer.

He's steadily improving, and I for one love his lawyer gimmick. I think being Lauranaitis's stooge is the best thing that ever could've happened for his career (well other than marrying Jennifer Hudson that is). He's getting better in the ring, and he's very good on the mic. I think he'll be the one to take the US Title from Santino, and I think he'll be an upper mid-carder due to his connection to Big Johnny

I personally like his lawer gimmick...but his in-ring skills never impressed me..his finisher appears like as if he's carefully doing it in order to not hurt his opponent..:d

his mic skills r decent now...he has to improve a lil more in ring...he's looking very green when against Santino...n DO is not even selling SM's moves..
