During the commercial, a video segment is aired. A voice speaks-"My time is coming. Whether I have to fight for it, cheat for it, or buy it, I will be champion. Do you know why? It's because I'm better than you all of disgusting americans". After the voice over, two letters appear. A.A. We come back from the commercial break to see Shane Jackson is already in the ring, as well as a ref. The bell sounds, signalling the start of the match.
Match 1
Van Hooligan X vs Shane Jackson
The two men have a stare off for a moment, before hooking up for a power struggle. Shane easily gets the upperhand, launching Van backwards into a roll right into the bottom turnbuckle. Van gets up cautiously, as he just smiles and nods at Shane. Van motions for another hook up, and as Shane goes for it, Van comes off with a vicious kick to the gut of Shane. Shane is keeled over from the kick, Van goes running into the ropes and bounces back, going for a springboard tornado ddt, but Shane catches Van! Shane tosses Van, nailing a big belly to belly suplex. Before Shane can follow up, the momentum sends Van outside of the ring. Van gets back to his feet, as he looks into the ring at Shane.
JR: Well, so far it seems like Shane has the advantage. He definitely has it when it comes to power. Van will have to use his speed and def defying moves to try and get the win here if he wants to keep his match at Bad Habit 1 on 1. And it looks like Hooligan decided to finally get back in the ring.
Van is back in, as Shane is trying to catch Hooligan. Shane has backed Van into a corner, but as Shane goes in, Van goes under the arms of Shane and spins, nailing a massive chop as the arena is filled with WOO!. The chop doesn't seem to face Shane though, as he goes right for Van again. The same thing happens this time, but in the opposite corner. Another resounding Woo from the fans as Van nails a chop. Shane goes to grab Van again, but this time, Van is one step ahead. He ducks under the arms of Shane and leaps right onto the top turnbuckle. Shane spins to try and catch Van, but Van leaps off the top nailing a moonsault...but WAIT! Shane catches Van, and counters it into a running powerslam! Shane covers Van as the ref goes for the count.
1....2!
Van is able to kick out at 2, and this match it still going. Both men are back to their feet, as Shane drops Van again with a clothesline. Shane follows up, going for an ankle lock! Shane has in synced in, as Van is scrambling for a rope to break the hold! Van slowly crawls, he is nearly within a grasp of a rope, as Shane pulls Van back to the middle of the ring. Shane smirks at the ICW Faithful in attendance, and that moment of cockiness gives Van the chance to counter the ankle lock by spinning and nailing Shane with a stiff kick to the chest.
JR: For a second there I thought Hooligan might have to tap out...I really wonder where my broadcast partner is....
Van is back to his feet, but is not putting alot of weight on the one that was stuck in the ankle lock. Shane charges at Van, going for another clothesline. Van ducks, as Shane goes running into the ropes. Jackson bounces back right at Van, going for another clothesline, but Van counters with a dropkick to the leg of Shane. Shane's legs are kicked out from under him, as he lands face first. Shane gets to his feet, but is met with another dropkick to the same leg this time. Shane is down, as he grabs his leg. He may have tweaked it. Van capitalizes, as he ascends the nearest turnbuckle. Van comes off the top with a somersault leg drop across the throat of Jackson, and follows up with a cover.
1.....2...VAN HAS HIS FEET ON THE ROPES...3!
JR: Damn it...Damn it! Van stole that one. He stole the damn match!
Mike Ripple: The winner of this match, Van Hooligan X
JR: Well he had to cheat to do it, but the result is the same as last week. Van is the winner, and thus far, his match at Bad Habit is still a 1 on 1 encounter.
Van smirks as he rolls out of the ring, and walks up the ramp. The camera's pan back to Jackson in the ring, who is holding his leg. The ref helps Jackson get to his feet, but wait! Someone has hopped the barrier! He is wearing a mask! The man grabs a chair from near the announce table, before sliding into the ring. The ref notices, and tries to interfere, but the masked man just pushes the ref out of the way. Shane turns, and is planted with a wicked chair shot! Jackson is down, as the masked man sets the chair up as if someone could sit in it. The masked man lifts Shane to his feet, and then onto the man's shoulders. WASTELAND ONTO THE CHAIR!
JR: That could break his back! Who is this man and why is he attacking a defenseless jackson!?
The masked man smirks at the carnage he caused, as he turns to the camera and raises his finger showing 1 finger. He shakes it no, and then raises a second. He slides out of the ring, and runs up the ramp. The camera's are following him, as he is heading around backstage. The man turns a corner, and we see a body laying in the pool of blood. The man walks over, and lifts the head towards the camera's...IT'S SHAWN MICHAELS!
JR: What the hell!? This masked man attacked my broadcast partner, but why? Somebody, somebody help Shawn in the back, he needs medical attention!
The masked man then drops Shawn's head, and turns to the camera raising two fingers, but shakes his hand as if to say no. He then raises a third, before walking off camera. The camera zooms in on a closeup of Shawn's bloody face. Karnage cuts to a commercial break
