Thread: Fake Injuries!?

    Fake Injuries!?

As seen on Monday night, WWE did an injury angle with Beth Phoenix that appeared to be legit. Expect to see more of this as WWE is trying to do more “plausible” injuries where they initially don’t reveal that it’s a work and report it on their website like they would a real injury. The idea is for the talents to use Facebook and Twitter to help get the injuries over.
Looks like they are resorting to having people get "injured" now. Who do you guys think is next?

E-fed: Jackson "The Boss" Smith- IWA & former ICW superstar
DJ "The Ladies Man" Williams w/ Rosita-EWNCW
TNA and WWE Prediction Contest Results:
    TNA Genesis 93pts (23rd Place)
WrestleMania XXVIII 168pts (tied for 8th place)

If the thing is fake and it's just to keep people out of T.V. then I hope Santino Marella, but being more realistic it can be one of the tag team champions due to their twitter comments

THE BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT HE DOES

I actually have a feeling that they will do this with John Cena sometime soon so he can make a "surprise" return like at the 2008 Royal Rumble , whether its to bring him back as a heel or not is the real question.

Its pointless to do this.. why?

    1. Its playing with karma.. karma is a bitch and it will catch up to you.. i always feel with injury storylines their playing with fire.. someone will likely get serious injured through this..

    2. It will only leak out on the internet and the marks will be smartened up to it

it reminds me of the four horsemen time with the long list of faces they've injured it can send a message for heels to get over without putting anybody out of the moneymaking in the wwe
Damn I need a better catchphrase

I think this is a good thing. They won't have people get 'injured' often, that would be stupid and I'm sure WWE knows that. But using it occasionally, such as with Beth is a good thing, especially when they sell the injury so well. Lets face it, if nobody on EWN or any other internet dirtsheets posted that she wasn't actually injured then you would believe Beth was injured. She sold that injury so well.

SANTINO?! Is he a great wrestler? No. But guess what? Like it or not, he is the most CONSISTENTLY "over" with the crowd on the entire roster. Live crowds LOVE him.
