Seeing as some of you are coming out with silly WWE mark-like answers, I'll add to the few more realistic and mature answers.
Maybe the whole reason TNA started open fight night mere weeks after the HOF was so a WWE superstar could appear and make a challenge, after all it can't be just a coincidence that they started this gimmick with the stipulation that ANY non-contracted TNA performers can make a challenge. If the deal they made with WWE is DVD related then wouldn't it make sense for them to use that same WWE superstar to make an appearance on the show to also promote the DVD, either way open fight night was designed for a WWE superstars appearance to try and add shock value to an otherwise predictable business. The whole thing can benefit both TNA and WWE which would be why WWE approved the deal. It'll make non-internet marks tune in to TNA to see if another WWE superstar will appear and also give WWE new viewers on the basis that a TNA wrestler could possibly appear on Raw or SD. Now that my friends is what you call LOGICAL thinking.
