Still in shock they have cena taking time off and instead of building up lesnar by destroying cena they have him lose and cena leaves anyway!!

Brock had him covered for 10 secs with the ref KO'd, so he has a ready made excuse

But he was the one who killed the ref, so the excuse is nullified

I absoloutly loved Lesner's super stiff offence.

Are you serious ? He needed to lose and he also needed to do something else than just a AA.
This match was awful. It was ONE MORE TIME just a beat down and should not have been the main event.

Are you serious again ? This was just a beatdown. Cena was totaly owned and if the Creatives were trying to bring something from Cena, then they just failed, because it was the same Cena as usual we saw at ER, and if Cena remains face, time off or not, then he will not change. There is no chance. The only way he would change his in ring style is to turn heel.

Once again, Creative failed to put a decent main event. Even Clay vs Ziggler was better.

Okay everyone in here saying Brock needed to win obviously doesn't know good business. Brock Lesnar is only in WWE for one year. Meaning that after Wrestlemania 29 he is gone. So why would you have him beat the face of your company? That is horrible business sense to invest top coin in someone who is going to be gone in eleven months. But Petey why not have Cena lose and then have Cena beat Lesnar at another time? Well you see because it ruins the credibility of Cena's character saying some guy just came back after eight years and destroyed him. Also it sends a bad message that everyone in the past generation is greater then the guys in the locker room now because you would've just had the face of this generation lose twice to guys who left WWE for greener pastures. However all of you are right the WWE should've killed the face of their company for a guy who won't be here after Wrestlemania 29.

I'll agree it was a beatdown but it wasn't a normal beatdown. With all of these changes to Cena's character- for the first time heading into this match, Cena looked scared. The last time Cena looked scared was a long, long time ago. Michael Cole shouting that the old Cena is back after the match points to the changing of his character. They want the Cena of 2006/7 when he wasn't getting beaten down every match and everybody actually cheered for him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- I WANT a heel Cena. He needs a change to his character- but the main event wasn't as bad as you make it out to be, in my opinion. The whole event was a brilliant event. Sheamus-Bryan, Punk-Y2J, Cena-Brock, Kane-Orton all delivered.

If Cena is taking time off it's bad for business.

It makes the main draw to shows less credible being beaten by someone who isn't going to be around for a while.

I fail to see how making your main draw looking weaker in any way is good for business.

If Cena was staying, the point would be much less flawed.

Uh....Cena NEEDS a vacation. He has been on the road for far too long and his body is banged up. WWE will be fine without Cena for a while.

CM Punk, Randy Orton, and Sheamus are all bigger draws then Brock Lesnar. If this was eight years ago you may have had a point, but now this is there ring.
