    Ziggler's Insurance Policy

At the 5/5 Raw in Knoxville, Tennessee - Dolph Ziggler reportedly came out and cut a pretty stellar promo. At this time, he introduced Mason Ryan as an 'extra insurance policy' and promised he would never lose again with this added insurance. - ProWrestling.net

Is this an idea Creative could be flirting with to introduce on Raw? I for one would love it. I think Dolph desperately needs to get out of this Bermuda Triangle with Swagger and Vickie. I call it that, because now that he's landed there, there is seemingly no way out. Even worse, no one seems to be able to find him. He's been lost in this awkward stable for nearly a year now. Dolph truly is a show-stealer, and a future main eventer. I could type until my hands are sore about all of the attributes he has to catapult to the main event scene, but I'll refrain. I would just like to give my 2 cents about why I think adding Mason Ryan behind Dolph would do wonders.

In past and recent history, having a dominant big man behind a smaller, but highly talented wrestler... just flat out works. Del Rio had Brodus, Miz had Alex Riley. and dare I say it, HBK had Diesel. Hell, I'll be willing to argue that aside from that last one, Zigs and Ryan would be physically the most impressive duo of all - strength, freakish definition, swagger, and style.

Yes, behind every great man is a great woman. And yes, Vickie has been and is great in her role. But, she has taken Ziggler as far as she can take him. She is no longer helping him week in and week out, she's making him obsolete. If Ziggler had to go up against Cena, would you think he had a better chance of winning with Vickie in his corner, or a 295 pound, stud, monster? The reason Miz's feuds with Orton and Cena seemed somewhat believable, was because Riley was always there to give him that edge. Vickie helped my favorite #Heel climb to the upper mid card - I think Mason Ryan, Dolph's Diesel - would provide that final element to giving him the full shove into main event glory. Not to mention, you might just make Mason Ryan all the more credible star in the process, with all the main event exposure he'd see. Dolph's already incredible, Mason makes him credible - a believable, vindicated main eventer. I really hope it happens, because, "I am so damn sick, of seeing Dolph be soo damn sick" and stuck losing to a Funkasaurus.

    Thoughts my brothas?

WWE will screw it up by just adding Mason Ryan to Vicky's stable.

If I could be serious for a moment...

This was from 5/3/2012 Superstars, Dolph without Vickie Guerrero or Jack Swagger. Matt Striker kept mentioning that Mason Ryan needs a manager, but maybe that was just a disguise for he and Ziggler benefiting from each other in the future? Hopefully Dolph will be on RAW and this will continue to unfold. I'm all for Dolph Ziggler being elevated to the level he deserves and agree that his relationship with Vickie has run its course.

Dolph Ziggler is underused. But I don't think it would be smart to put a robot beside him. Mason Ryan is just awful. Ziggler does not need anybody anymore. WWE should push him on his own asap

Good thread, I agree that it would be much more beneficial for both men than what they are currently doing, Ziggler is getting lost on RAW and swagger does nothing for him plus he's out grown Vickie as well, while Mason hasn't been on tv for a while and needs some kind of purpose.

I'm a big fan of both men, Ziggler because he's really talented and Mason, well because we're from the same country :P. So personally I would enjoy seeing this happen on tv because right now Zig needs to break away from swag and vickie.

That is one of the most intelligent posts i've ever read. Ziggler & Maso Ryan could really go far. Damn well hope this happens

I love Ziggle's, the guy is super talented and is destined for the top!

I have often seen him as a young HBK! mainly because of the way they both sell moves and makes anyone in the ring with them look better.. and we seen the bodyguard role worked well for Diesal and Shawn when they were both together so I think it could work again! eventually it could lead to a strong face turn for one of them and building a feud from there! I have enjoyed Vickie as his manager and it's worked really well though like some of you have said it's maybe ran it's course.. it could allow Ziggler to break away while allowing Vickie to recruit someone else maybe!

Good post and I'm interested by the idea!

When they eventually split Dolph from Vickie, which potentially could be anytime, it would make sense to give him a bodyguard. Flashy, smug heels always work better when they have a big guy to back them up.

This would make sense to as the OP said Dolph has been losing to Brodus recently, so Ryan would be perfect to even the odds. You never know we may see something about this tonight on Raw.

this has shaken up things quite a bit since he is a heel and mason ryan's heel turn is probably this it's good for both of them mason ryan can get more credibility as the bodyguard guy taking out guys behind the ref's back ziggler looks smarter and more like an ultimate opportunist the faces look stronger if they overcome mason ryan(no randy orton & john cena fuck off) and in the long run if ziggler really crushes mason ryan (if he doesn't improve) then ziggler looks stronger after their break-up i really see ziggler as the main guy in a stable though putting him in a tag team with swagger was an awful idea but now maybe they can be added to Abraham washington's stable? and have vickie split from swagger and manage hawkins & reks perhapse? i mean opportunities people how can you be against this idea with your only arguments ziggler is better on his own he's a HEEL heel's cheat the more they cheat the more they want them to get beat up which is good for business heels winning a title by cheating is even better and another argument against this idea i've heard is wwe will fuck it up well if you say that about every new thing that's not the same shit we see everyweek then not one great angle would have happened the last 5 or more years in the WWE good angles come with trying out alot of bad angles as well am i certain this angle will be entertaining? no but you can't say that right now can you?
Damn I need a better catchphrase
