So what happened to Drew McIntyre?

I haven't seen him since Wrestlemania. Anyone know where the little bugger went?

Can't say I'm desperate to see him return. Whilst he is ring competent, I have never found him in anyway exciting to watch. He's just to generic for me. He should have been given a gimmick when he started. Before someone pipes up with "The Chosen One' was his gimmick, no it wasn't. That is not a gimmick. Getting a nod from Vince and the commentary team banging on about it so much that the guy end up with it as a nickname is not a gimmick.

With his strong accent he should have been given a strong Scottish gimmick. Either a Scottish version of Sheamus's Celtic Warrior or a modern day Roddy Piper. Hell I'm even have accepted a crazed angry drunk Glaswegian.

Word has it he's getting repackaged with a playboy gimmick. I'd prefer seeing him with a newer legend killer type gimmick. Did wonders for orton.

i like drew mcintyre but uratool has a point when i compare alberto del rio with this next to his destiny thing he does live his gimmick in entrances etc. drew should be given something he even dropped the coat he wore when he debuted i think drew would be a good face but he needs a new gimmick not just another cocky heel i liked when they called him sinister scotsman he really played his heel part perfectly in his feuds against matt hardy and john morrison but after this they just dropped him and not in the way that he finally lost a feud i mean in the way that after that unlike john morrison you didn't see anything from him anymore he was gone he should have gone through with it a new gimmick or expanding his sinister scotsman gimmick by allying himself with people and turning on them or something now drew's just there and i think he deserves more but indeed i haven't really missed him

He could've really done well with a cerebral assassin type gimmick too. I know this is the 2nd rehash I've thrown out but let's face it, gimmicks get rehashed all the time. Might as well be some of the better ones. The sinister Scotsman thing could have been his cerebral assassin. And I think they dropped the ball on a major face turn opportunity with him with the whole teddy long angle. If he turned on ace at mania and helped team teddy win that would've been huge for him. Though I'm aware they were looking at storylines for the immediate future and understand why they is what they did but by now it could've opened up several new avenues in the upper mid card to the main event scene. Especially seeing as how the top draws are in need of time off to rehab a bit. Drew reminds me so much of triple h and William regal that I find it damn near criminal that he's not used in a MUCH bigger capacity then what he is.

He was used so little in recent months that he could have been face or heel going into WM. Even Teddy could have said if you help me win i will give you a proper chance on SD or something, he could have then turned on Teddy at WM to fit in with the whole big Jonny winning and then came out saying Jonny Ace offered him a better deal and could have been used as a very good heel.

Shame really so many options that were never done.

Yeah I wondered that to, they gave him the whole win or be fired storyline, then he was fired, then he was at Mania then...?

He has still been working the house shows, but that doesnt really mean much in the grand scheme of things. He could be in trouble come the firings.

I think he's being kept off to be re-packaged? That's the only thing I can imagine.
It would be a shame if he was lost in the roster cuts, but it's not looking good right now, since he's not being used on Superstars, NXT or even in dark matches these days.
