Post match analysis:

Spain 2 - 0 France
France were very poor in the first half. didn't do anything going forward, and barely breached the Spanish defense at all.
Spain weren't exactly top of their game either with the passing not 100% accurate by their standards, but still, better than most. Good work from Alba to get the cross in and a fantastic header from Alonso to score on his 100th cap.
I'm glad France came out in the second half with a better mentality, and at least they carried a little more of a threat, but still, they were unable to create any real chances. The penalty at the end was the correct decision, and Alonso did great dispatching it.

Spain are yet to hit top form IMO, and that's scary considering that they've reached the semis without playing at their best yet. You'd think that they'll need to play better if they are to face England or Italy in the semis though, and I have no doubt that they will.

They will need to play better in order to beat Portugal who have been getting better and better as the tournament has gone on. But I have no doubt that Spain will step up in the semis. It'll be interesting to see how they counter Portugal's attacking prowess though.

Aye, pretty much agree with ya.

I truly cannot see anyone but Spain vs Germany in the final.

Still, if Man City can win the Premier League and Chelsea can beat Barca and Bayern then who knows. Maybe Portugal, Italy or England can do another miracle.

I'd say out of the teams left, England has the least chance.
