A good way of bringing back legitimacy..

I just realized that CM Punk has been the WWE Champion for almost 6 months. He's probably gonna go over Bryan Danielson at Over The Limit, which would make his reign longer. The WWE title is starting to mean something again. I mean, over the last couple of years, title reigns have lasted no more than 2 or 3 months. Hell, the last long title reign I remember was in 2008 when Triple H won the Title at Backlash & held on to it for 7 months.

cm punk is the most overrated face in wwe history, he does nothing entertaining on any raw show, hes a great wrestler but as a face hes so boring and the numbers show that too! bring back the old punk!! SES/Nexus

I think the first thing they need to desperately do get rid of that awful John Cena WWE title they've had for 7 years. It's so bad that it looks like a toy.
the second is actually make the title worth a fuck for a change. The Problem is CM Punk is better off without the title because honestly he's become a brand like Cena and now shows alot of qualities that Cena has had for years which I think eventually will led the crowd to turn on CM Punk in the long run,
here's a few of the last WWE champions over a years that have held that awful title and where are they now

RVD (pushed til caught with mary)
Edge (gone)
HHH (title reign didn't matter)
Batista (gone)
Jeff Hardy (drug raid not taken seriously anymore)
Shameus (World Champion, mid carder on RAW, main events on Smackdown)
Randy Orton (Mid card on Raw main eventer on Smackdown now)
The Miz (barely on TV)
John Cena (numerous title runs nobody remembers)
Alberto Del Rio (failed mexican experiment)
CM Punk (unless they change the belt he's better off not having the piece of shit)

I think that title is cursed which is why I don't want Bryan Danielson winning it

Even John Cena doesn't like the spinner belt. He says it weighs double or maybe a little more than double the old one, and the spinning part doesn't even work anymore. I hate the belt too but it's not an easy change to make. I remember an interview that Triple H did where the guy interviewing him asked him about getting rid of the spinner belt and Triple H at the time said that WWE just signed a new deal with Mattel who were coming out with toy spinner belts. That kind of thing requires coordination with all merchandise partnerships and it should include their video games too. What if WWE '13 comes out and immediately has an out of date WWE belt on it? All these things should click and be in sync with each other, and sometimes when there's an opening between contracts it's not the right time to debut a new belt.

It's the same thing like when Justin Bieber cut his hair and there was a toy manufacturer that had exclusive rights to his likeness that produced a new line of toys with his old hairstyle on it, and they apparently lost $100,000 because of it because they just started manufacturing what would become 4 million dolls for the holiday season that had his old hairstyle on it.
