I have yet to play a game that touches RE 2 in the survival horror genre. I have hopes that RE 6 at least tries to find it's roots, especially after RE 5...

Rent it or borrow, its worth a quick play through just for the "oh look Leon" moments, and remembering bits from 2 and 3, but do not waste your money on it.

Whether it is or isnt I will be buying it, by the looks of things survival horror is gone, hoping it goes the way of Dead Space.

Why does everyone say Res 2 is the best Res?

Oh yeah, Birkin, MR. X, Claire, the RPD, crocodile in the sewer and Leon "Motherflippin" Kennedy.

The REmake on Gamecube is probably my personal favorite; still pissed that RE2 never got the same treatment.
