I like this. Yes, an Iron Man Submissions Match might sound great to those who would appreciate their knowledge and technical skills between the two. In reality, 60 minutes of submissions would get a little dry to the casual fan and even some of us. It's tough to put together a well rounded Iron Man Match using every move in their arsenal (high flying, high impact, submissions, etc), let alone focusing on holds the whole hour.
My only fear is that DB should win the submissions match. He's already proven he can make Punk tap - it's his speciality. If Punk were to beat DB in his own game, it would make him look godly. At that point, how can we expect Bryan to have a chance in an Iron Man Match after two losses, one where he had a distinct advantage? Some of you might say, oh well just have Punk lose it at one PPV, then retain it at the next. That's obviously doable, but I tend to hate it when the title flip flops like that.
