I compare Axel Rose to Lex Lugar, both were people nobody liked and were one hit wonders. People respect and like Slash (Sting) who was the heart of the band (tag team). both Lex and Rose went downhill and now are unrecognizable nobodies

Hulk Hogan is like Steven Tyler They both pretend they're alot younger than they actually are lol Both still have an ounce of fame to them but most people are tired of seeing them both.

I'm sorry but Slash was not the heart of that band, they have continued without him while Slash has been failing ever since.

This statement is categorically wrong. With 2 Velvet Revolver albums, 2 solo albums & a live album, Slash has been producing and selling music constantly since he left G'n'R. All have met with good or great success and acclaim. He has been constantly touring the whole time.
Guns and Roses, with one original member left - Axl - have released one album since 1993 which met with lukewarm sales and reviews. They tour periodically.

It was met with rave reviews actually, the press changed their mind when the people didn't understand Chinese Democracy, same thing happened with Metallica's St. Anger. Velvet Revolver had 3 hits, none of them particularly memorable either, the second album flopped hard, and Slash's solo stuff hasn't sold at all. Not to mention that Slash's involvement in video games has met with disastrous results, Guitar Hero 3 may have had great sales but is now widely panned in rhythm gaming circles, and the upcoming Bandfuse game that Slash is involved in is having to use kickstarter to even get funding. Chinese Democracy is a very different album that I compare a lot to Steely Dan's Countdown To Ecstasy, fans may not get it but in the end it will be regarded as a great album.
