Thread: TNA live rating

Were they in direct competition with anyone? I'd only worry if it becomes a trend AND/OR had competition.
Raw dropped below 3.0 (and are freaking out) even though they were up against huge ratings drawers.

Well first hour there wasnt really anything major but people honestly just forgot. The second hour killed them because of the NBA playoff game which also killed raw so it will probalby not look very good on both fronts.

One thing i think no one is talking about is how people could have forgotten that it moved to 8:00

If I was watching live I would probably have turned off in the Brooke segment, I am so thankful for fast forward.

Also Knockouts are normally one of the highest rated part of the show, and there was no knockouts.

Several factors probably played into the low rating...
    1. the time change as many stated, people forgot...
    2. other shows probably played a factor, from the NBA Playoffs and Pre-game show...
    3. No really huge surprise debut, if JoMo and Melina, or Chavo or DH Smith would been there would brought some viewers in...
    4. as others has stated the qt hours see where the strong areas is, even see where the viewers watched and didn't...
We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
Wrestling, women and money who could ask for more???

Turns out hte first hour scored a .7 with the next hour scoring 1.1 so it was just the time change.

I blame it on Spike not properly advertising it. The highest showing of iMPACT! Wrestling was in fact the only episode I have seen that was advertised on SyFy during Smackdown!.
Hey.. I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.

Too many people are jumping the gun on TNA's first live show in awhile. If it is still doing this poorly after, oh say, 3 more shows, than I would say hit the panic button. Until than, quit panicking.

    It's simple Knockouts = Ratings
Brooke Hogan segment = decline in rating
No knockouts for the first live show
plus Brooke Hogan can make a boner soft
