lmao @ The Mountie and welcome aboard from another new comer.That song has always made me laugh as did Jacques Rougeau when he came out to the ring.He was always very entertaining and thats what separates the good from the bad....entertainment value.Anyone agree?

Hi Mankind. Thanks for the greeting. It's good to meet a fellow newcomer to these pages. Unfortunately, Jacques was never a huge star but I couldn't agree more about his entertainment value. I recall how cool I thought it was back in '92 when The Mountie beat Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship! Shame Piper beat him for it a couple of days later! I've been watching wrestling for years now and have many fond memories of the 'cartoon-era' of the 80s and 90s... especially the villains like Jacques! These days I prefer more realistic gimmicks and understand that exaggerated versions of real life personas work best, but I'll always remember the larger than life characters of yesteryear!

It certainly does have a Python-esque feel, doesn't it? We'd probably have to ask Jim Johnston to be sure! I always wondered how that guy managed to come up with some many different theme songs, tailored to each character?
